New boarding procedures started

MEDIA RELEASE: The views expressed in this article are those of the author and not Bailiwick Express, and the text is reproduced exactly as supplied to us

Each year at the GSPCA we review the costs of our services and from the 1st August a cost of living will start to account for the rising costs to care for your beloved pets when they stay with us.

Boarding is one of the main income stream to the GSPCA other than donations and the team love looking after your pets to help us to carry out our animal welfare and rescue work.”

We have also been reviewing our procedures and we now require ALL boarding customers to complete our confirmation contract before leaving your pet with us so we can ensure you are aware of our procedures and also that we have all the information we require to care for your beloved pet.

Weare also launching a new boarding system where existing customers whose pets that have stayed with us previously can book online. We have set it so it doesn’t book all boarding pens and kennels so if you are unable to book online it is best to contact us to see if we can still help.

We are appealing for a small number of customers to trail the new system and if interested please email steve@gspca.org.gg

Steve Byrne GSPCA Manager said “From the 1st August our new rates will come into effect for boarding and a number of other services like our ambulance taxi rate.”

“These are inline with the last years cost of living increase.”

“If you book before the 1st August you can get your boarding at the current rates so a great idea to book early.”

“We are also launching our new online booking system for existing customers with pets that have stayed at the GSPCA before.”

“If you are interested in having a go at booking online then please email me for the details and you can help us with the trial.”

“The online booking system doesn’t allow 100% of enclosures to be booked as we start the trial, so it is important to note to contact us if you do help with the trial to see if we can still help board your pet or pets.”

"If you would like to give it a go please email me steve@gspca.org.gg ."
