The Ladies' College has revealed its newly refurbished 'Leaf Centre,' a space dedicated to student wellbeing, relaxation, and study. The refurbishment was initiated in April 2024 and was completed over the summer months by Miss Clements, Head of Sixth Form and Mrs Newton, former Sixth Form Administrator.

Some key refurbishment features include upholstered study pods, diner-style booths, sit/stand desks, greenery and creative contributions from Upper Sixth students.

Nicole Falla, a former Ladies' College student and professional interior designer, was brought on board to create a contemporary yet warm design scheme for the space.

Nicole said: ‘I was proud to return to The Ladies' College and work on designing a space that holds such importance for the students. My goal was to create an environment that is not only aesthetically pleasing but also functional and uplifting. I wanted students to feel comfortable, inspired and supported in their wellbeing and studies.’

Miss Clements, Head of Sixth Form said: ‘The Ladies' College is committed to providing environments that support both the academic and personal wellbeing of its students. We couldn’t be more thrilled with the transformation of the ‘Leaf Centre’. The space is now modern and welcoming, it truly reflects the spirit of our students. It creates the perfect environment for them to thrive, both academically and personally.’
