The Ladies’ College has gifted St Anne’s school in Alderney its Wellbeing Hub for teachers, parents and students.
The Wellbeing Hub has been designed by mental health and wellbeing experts ‘Teen Tips’ to meet the social, emotional and educational needs of young people. The service provides a live interactive platform which provides expert support, which the whole school community will be able to access 24/7.
After the introduction of the Wellbeing Hub to The Ladies’ College in February this year, students, parents and teachers have enjoyed a wealth of resources, from wellbeing webinars to daily mental health activities.
Deputy Principal (Pastoral) at The Ladies’ College, Dr Vanessa Mitchell, said, ‘The Ladies’ College takes great pride in our strong pastoral provision. We continue to promote the use of the Hub to all of our stakeholders and we are thrilled to be able to share this resource with St Anne’s School.
‘It’s a great pleasure for the College to support our peers where possible. We are sure that St Anne’s will enjoy the benefits of the Wellbeing Hub as we continue to do.’
The College holds multiple awards in wellbeing and was the first school on the island to invest in a new Wellbeing Hub to support students, teachers and parents.
A representative from St Anne’s school in Alderney said: ‘St Anne’s School is delighted to be gifted the use of the Wellbeing Hub by The Ladies' College. We are really looking forward to using it with pupils, parents and staff from January. What an amazing resource – thank you so much for your generosity. Wishing you all a very Happy Christmas.’
