Joint Talk for Year 11 Students

The Sixth Form Centre and The Guernsey Institute will host meetings with students and parents over the coming weeks to discuss options for higher education.

The Sixth Form Centre and The Guernsey Institute agrees a calendar each year for Joint Presentation Dates, which for this year are as follows:

• St. Anne’s School - Thursday 6th October 
• La Mare de Carteret High School - Wednesday 19th October 
• Grammar School (grant-aided colleges invited) - Thursday 20th October
• Les Beaucamps High School - Wednesday 2nd November 
• St Sampson’s High School - Thursday 3rd November 
• Les Voies - Wednesday 9th November 
• Les Murier - Thursday  10th November

We then have Information Evenings, open to all:

• Tuesday 15^th Nov at the Sixth Form Centre
• Thursday 17^th Nov at The Guernsey Institute

We then hold Taster Days for prospective students:

• Wed 18^th January – The Guernsey Institute
• Thurs 19^th January – Sixth Form Centre

The grant-aided colleges are publicly invited to the Grammar School presentation as the Sixth Form Centre does not have an opportunity to engage directly with Y11 students and parents at the grant-aided colleges.

All other Y11 students are invited to their school’s respective event directly through the school.
