Carey Olsen associate, Jamie Oldfield, has been admitted as an advocate of the Royal Court of Guernsey and called to the Guernsey Bar. Advocate Oldfield advises on commercial and trust litigation, banking and funds litigation and insolvency with a focus on contentious trust litigation and non-contentious restructuring and insolvency.
During her time at Carey Olsen Advocate Oldfield has worked on a range of litigation work. She has particular expertise in commercial litigation matters and restructuring and insolvency issues having been heavily involved in a range of administration and liquidation applications and in advising clients on contentious insolvency matters.

Advocate Oldfield joins 31 other qualified advocates at Carey Olsen – 26 of which have completed their qualifications while working for the firm.
Advocate Oldfield completed the Legal Practice Course in 2009 following which she joined Carey Olsen. She started the Bar training course and qualified as a Barrister of England and Wales in 2012; she is a member of Lincoln's Inn. She is also a member of the Guernsey International Legal Association.
