Guernsey Post is the new sponsor of the 2015 Guernsey Customer Service Awards.

Boley Smillie, Chief Executive Officer of Guernsey Post Limited, said: “Guernsey Post is delighted to be partnering with the organisers and the Chamber of Commerce in support of the Customer Service Awards. The event has grown from strength to strength over recent years and we very much hope to be able to raise the profile even further. The Awards provide an opportunity for everyone within the Bailiwick to recognise those individuals and teams who are consistently providing excellent customer service."

Organised in association with the Island’s Chamber of Commerce, the awards celebrate excellence, best practice and innovation in customer service. Their aim is to highlight the contribution great customer service can make to a business’s success – particularly in today’s environment.

Whilst the awards focus on individuals who go that extra mile to deliver top quality service to customers, they will again include a number of corporate categories for businesses to enter. These companies, large or small, must be able to showcase strategies and innovations they have successfully introduced to develop a customer service culture within their organisation.

Key Dates:
Corporate entry submission opens Wednesday 6 May.
Public voting for individuals opens Wednesday 6 May and continues until Friday 19 June
Awards ceremony on Thursday 9 July, in Market Square, compered by Island FM.

The founder, Julie Todd, said: “We were thrilled with the number of public nominations we got last year – more than 5,000. It would be fantastic to beat that figure now that the event is better known. We are launching a brand new website next month; have additional outlets for the nominations process; and, with Guernsey Post partnering the awards, there will be much more awareness and information delivered directly to all island homes. As always, I am extremely grateful for the support and assistance we have from the Chamber of Commerce, Island FM and our kind sponsors, who have really got behind the awards."
