Canaccord Genuity Wealth Management has appointed two highly experienced stockbrokers in Guernsey.

Reporting to Matt Atkinson, head of stockbroking in Guernsey, Lloyd Bannocks and Rod Sallis will provide advisory and dealing services across global markets to Canaccord Genuity Wealth Management’s institutional, intermediary and high net worth private clients.

“Lloyd and Rod bring a range of experience which makes them a welcome addition to our wealth management operations in Guernsey. As we continue to build our business, both locally and internationally, we are pleased to attract established and reputable professionals to join our team,” said Andy Finch, head of wealth management in Guernsey.

Mr Bannocks has 18 years of experience providing investment advice and management in Guernsey, London and Germany. He has expertise in advising intermediary and institutional clients, trading equities and bonds and managing foreign exchange risk. He joins the business from Brooks Macdonald where he was a stockbroker.

Mr Sallis, who has worked in the local wealth management industry for 15 years, has extensive experience in analysing and selecting funds, managing clients’ portfolios and trading equities, bonds and derivatives in the UK and international markets.

He previously worked for Collins Stewart, which was rebranded to Canaccord Genuity Wealth Management in 2013, as a portfolio manager and went on to hold the positions of fund analyst and stockbroker at other local wealth management companies including Brooks Macdonald and SG Hambros.
