“Congratulations to all the runners who took part in this year’s Guernsey marathon and relay races,” said Andy Finch, head of Canaccord Genuity Wealth Management, Guernsey.

“We are very proud to sponsor the Guernsey Marathon, which has become such a well-known and popular feature of local sporting life thanks to the work of Peter Head and his team. A big thank you to all those who volunteered on the day; the event could not take place without help so we are extremely grateful to those who gave up their time to support it.

“We look forward to sponsoring the next Canaccord Genuity Wealth Management Guernsey marathon in 2016.”

“Completing a marathon is no mean feat so we’re thrilled with the number of runners who took on the challenge of this year’s Guernsey marathon and relay races,” said Peter Head, Race Director for Guernsey Marathon.

“The atmosphere on the day was fantastic and it was great to have all the crowds from Seafront Sunday cheering on the runners as they made their way to the finish line on Crown Pier.

“All the runners should be extremely proud of their achievements and we hope to see them at next year’s event.”

The 2016 Canaccord Genuity Wealth Management Guernsey marathon will take place on Sunday 28 August.
