Easter bin nights stay the same

MEDIA RELEASE: The views expressed in this article are those of the author and not Bailiwick Express, and the text is reproduced exactly as supplied to us

Waste and recycling collections across Guernsey will run as normal over the Easter weekend.

Household waste and recycling collections will be unaffected by the two bank holidays.

Thursday night collections will go ahead as normal this week, despite coinciding with Good Friday.

And households in central St Peter Port who normally set out waste and recycling on a Sunday night will also have their normal collection this weekend, even though it coincides with Easter Monday.

Sunday nights recycling collection in St Sampsons is also unaffected.

Any households who wish to know which materials to put out on which night can go via the website at gov.gg/mybinnight.
