Saffery Champness’ Guernsey and Geneva offices have been shortlisted for the 2015 Citywealth International Financial Centre Awards.

Both branches of the fiduciary firm have been nominated for Trust Company of the Year in their respective jurisdictions.

The awards, now in their fourth year, were established to highlight the excellence of the advisors and managers in the private wealth sector in major international financial centres.

Saffery Champness, one of the largest independent fiduciary service providers in Guernsey, employs more than 115 people across its trust, funds, tax and accountancy businesses, with its fiduciary team specialising in the provision of trust and company services to an international client base.

The Geneva office opened six years ago and works in partnership with local Swiss-based and international private banks, lawyers and independent asset managers to provide private clients and their families with wealth structuring solutions, fiduciary, UK tax advice and accountancy services.

Earlier this year four directors from Saffery Champness were recognised on the 2014 Citywealth Leaders List featuring prominent figures from across the legal and private wealth management sectors.

Managing director of Saffery Champness in Guernsey, Nick Batiste, said: “For both offices to be shortlisted is a testament to our high level of client services. To be included is a welcome endorsement from Citywealth.”
