Channel Islands, February 6, 2014 Credit Suisse has been named Best Private Bank in Guernsey for the sixth consecutive year by Euromoney magazine.
Credit Suisse also came first in a further 20 Channel Island categories, including Best Range of Advisory Services, Range of Investment Products and services for High Net Worth clients.
Roy McGregor, Chief Executive Officer of Credit Suisse in the Channel Islands, said: ‘I am delighted that the market has again recognised our achievements. 2013 was an excellent year for our Channel Island franchise in terms of our discretionary management performance, the continued focus on our offering for Guernsey and Jersey resident clients, and the development of our residential lending capabilities.’
The number of Guernsey and Jersey residents investing with Credit Suisse through its
Channel Island-based discretionary management and advisory teams increased by a record number in 2013. ‘With the low interest rate environment continuing we are seeing more people turn to our wealth management services as investors look to not only preserve but also grow their assets,’ said Mr. McGregor. Further he added, that the ongoing recognition from clients and peers was well received by staff.
Euromoney is a leading publication for the global banking and capital markets communities. These rankings are based on the results of its Private Banking Survey 2014, and are derived from a qualitative and quantitative review of the best services in private banking by markets and by areas of service. The survey also includes competitors’ perceptions of the best-performing providers in defined categories.
Credit Suisse received numerous other regional and country awards, including Best Private Bank in Central and Eastern Europe, Israel, Poland, Greece, Kuwait, United Arab Emirates and Bahamas.
