The organisers and sponsors of the 2016 awards are running a free one-hour workshop next week, which is open to everyone. It takes place on Wednesday 11th May at the OGH Hotel, from 9am to 10am, and refreshments will be served.
The organisers will explain in detail about what the judges are looking for, and give you real-life examples of what the public says when they nominate an individual or team.
Previous winners, such as last year’s overall Guernsey winner, Joe Hind of HSSD, will be there, as will sponsors Sure. All who attend will have the chance to chat with some of last year’s judges, and get a feel for what the awards aim to achieve.
