A group of Guernsey Badgers have visited the GSPCA to find out more about the charity's work.

At the heart of the GSPCA is education which is extremely important as the next generation are the future pet owners and carers of animals in Guernsey.

The GSPCA are delighted when approached to talk about our work and the care of animals.

On Tuesday evening a lovely group of St Johns Badgers visited the GSPCA where GSPCA Manager Steve Byrne gave them a behind the scenes tour of many of the animal areas.

Steve Byrne GSPCA Manager said “It was lovely to show the St Johns Badgers around on Tuesday evening.”

“From showing them the birds to the ferrets, the rabbits to meeting a hedgehog, cockerels to the cattery and also meeting Molly the beagle they got to learn much of what we do and see many areas of the GSPCA.”

“We are delighted to hear from groups wanting a talk from ourselves or even a tour.”

“If interested please do email me steve@gspca.org.gg or call 01481 257261.”

Marcia Bale Community Support Officer from St John Ambulance Guernsey said “I just wanted to say a massive thank you for your  time and brilliant tour on Tuesday with the Badgers, they had a lovely time and learnt lots!”

“Very much appreciated and we all think you all do a wonderful job.”
