The Alderney Literary Trust is delighted to announce that Ravenscroft has generously confirmed its ongoing sponsorship of the Trust for an additional twelve months.

This marks another year of their commitment and enthusiasm to support literary arts on the island of Alderney.

Ravenscroft's backing has been pivotal in bolstering the Trust's ability to host a number of events beyond our flagship annual literary festival, which celebrates both historical fact and fiction.

Their sponsorship enabled the Trust to run Anatomy of a Crime Thriller – a one day mini-festival with three best-selling thriller writers, plus a half-day crime-writing workshop offering budding novelists a unique opportunity to sharpen their skills under the guidance of an accomplished author.

In October, the Trust’s second Literally Gothic one day festival further boosts Alderney's reputation as a venue for literary events, and Ravenscroft is sponsoring training workshops for students at Alderney’s St. Anne’s School. Tailored to their English Literature curriculum, the workshops will be presented by prize-winning author A J West, one of the Literally Gothic guest authors.

The Alderney Literary Trust is deeply grateful to Ravenscroft for their continued commitment to the island and to helping the Trust deliver its ambition of inspiring a love of words
