Guernsey based Polar Instruments Ltd has appointed Lupita Maurer as President of US Operations at its US subsidiary Polar Instruments, Inc.
Ms Maurer is stepping into the role established by Ken Taylor, who previously oversaw the expansion of the US business.
Polar designs and manufactures software and measurement instruments which help document, measure and model the construction and performance of high speed printed circuit boards.
Products designed by Polar in Guernsey and the UK are sold in to the US market with sales said to have "increasingly shifted from the Asia-Pacific region to the point that the USA is now by far our largest marketplace".
Polar Instruments Inc has also completed a move to a new location in Beaverton Oregon. That is where the former Tektronix in Guernsey had its headquarters at Tel Beaverton, an area now mostly filled by the headquarters of Nike.
