Resolution IT has welcomed three more members to the team, as the business continues to expand its services and offering.
Nick Robilliard has joined as Information Security Consultant, while Ollie Le Prevost has become a Systems Engineer and James Le Gallez is the first Client Relationship Manager.
Mr Robilliard brings more than a decade's IT experience in both the public sector and financial services.
"I was initially attracted to Resolution IT because of its good reputation for the work it does for its clients and the supportive team atmosphere," he explained. "I like how they understand information security is not a ‘one size fits all’ solution and how proactive and innovative they are with the solutions they offer clients.
"Cloud has been a real game-changer with people increasingly expecting to have access to their work anywhere and at any time. I think there’s been a shift of understanding that the level of money and resources invested by the cloud providers on making their infrastructure secure is massive, compared to when data was stored on premises.
"Data privacy is so important and I’m delighted to be a part of a team who are dealing with and implementing the latest security technologies, as well as being given the support and opportunity to study for industry leading security qualifications."
Meanwhile, Mr Le Prevost has joined the team from an in-house IT position.
"It’s the evidently strong team spirit and common goal to be the best IT services provider on the island that, for me, was the attraction of Resolution IT.
"The business operates at a very energetic speed, quickly adopting the latest technologies if it sees it will benefit its clients. And as much as I feel my prior experience is adding value to the clients and the team, I feel I am getting so much more back in terms of the variety and dynamism of the projects I have worked on so far."
Finally, Mr Le Gallez, who is well known locally for producing spirits and liqueurs at Haut Maison, is hoping his new role will help to support and strengthen client relationships.
"I never thought I’d find myself starting a new job amidst a pandemic but as I come to the end of my first month, it’s beginning to feel rather normal," he said. "As we’re starting to ease out of lockdown, I am looking forward to building supportive relationships with our clients in person, as well as actually meeting everyone at Resolution IT!"
Olly Duquemin, CEO of Resolution IT added: "These have been testing times for business in Guernsey but we’re pleased to have still been able to attract some great local IT talent, all of whom bring something different to our expanding business and all of whom will significantly benefit the service we give our clients.
"Anyone who runs a business in Guernsey knows how difficult it can be to find the right people in such a small workforce and we’re really pleased Nick, Ollie and James have chosen to make Resolution IT the next stage in their careers."
