After receiving more than 4,000 nominations, the finalists for this year's Sure Customer Service Awards have been announced.
The awards, which are now in their ninth year, recognise businesses, teams and individuals in the Bailiwick for their commitment to delivering good customer service.
Some changes have been made for 2019, including two new awards and finalists from Alderney and Sark businesses.
The new 'Special Recognition' award will be chosen by the judging panel, selecting a team or business that has done something particularly impressive. Meanwhile, the new ‘Outstanding Contribution’ award will highlight an individual, team or business that has been consistently recognised for the excellent customer service they provide.
“The Customer Service Awards highlight excellent customer experiences and recognise those businesses and individuals who go above and beyond and Sure is proud to be a part of celebrating their achievements," said Sure’s Chief Customer officer, Charlotte Dunsterville.
After much deliberation, the panel of judges chose the following finalists:
Best Service from a Sole Trader:
Best Service from a Team:
Best Service from an Aspiring Star:
Best Service from an Individual:
Best Service from Digital Innovation:
Best Service from Food & Drink:

"This year we have had more organisations than ever involved in the awards which can only be a positive thing for Guernsey's customer service levels," said Awards Organiser, Jill Clark. "It has been a pleasure reading the nominations and hearing about the exceptional service that local businesses are providing to their customers.
"Sure, as headline sponsor, has been intrinsic to the growth of the awards so I'm very grateful for their continued support for the fourth year as headline sponsor. I'm looking forward to celebrating with all the finalists on the award evening."
The ceremony will take place at the Duke of Richmond Hotel on 24 October.
