Still space at financial security event, with talks from pension and savings experts

Tuesday 09 April 2024

Securing financial futures for all is the topic of the next Guernsey Chamber of Commerce lunch event.

Expert talks will be given on the importance of saving for retirement but also how pension funds are structured and used for investment.

Helen Dean, CEO of Nest, the UK government workplace pension scheme, and Peter Neville of Guernsey Community Savings will be on hand to offer insight into responsible investing, the importance of saving early, and how to boost financial literacy and saving skills.

Deputy Peter Roffey will also be there to lay the foundations for the incoming secondary pension scheme for larger employers, and the impact of the scheme to date.

Chamber said: This event serves as a useful primer for employers and employees looking beyond the secondary pension scheme.

It's for pension fund managers, socially minded investors, and anyone supporting those striving for financial security.
