Senior role for Guernsey-man in Mauritius

Having joined the firm straight out of school, Guernsey-man Connor Jordan has been appointed as Head of IDR Mauritius.

Described as a "success story within our business", Mr Jordan (pictured) has been given responsibility for growing and developing IDR's team in Mauritius.

He had joined IDR as an Analyst in 2016 before being promoted to Ongoing Monitoring Team Lead and then Head of Fund closing before taking on his new challenge.

IDR’s Mauritian hub was established in March 2022 focusing on providing early time zone support to its global client base.

Mr Jordan said: “As IDR’s team grew in Mauritius I was closely involved in both recruiting and training, given the breadth of my experience delivering services to our clients. Whilst this was initially remotely there’s nothing to beat collaborating face to face, so I jumped at the opportunity to spend some quality time with the team last year, spending a month on the exotic island.

"Relocating to Mauritius to head up the local business has been a natural progression of that first step and I’m excited to continue building our team and capability here. As one #IDRTeam, client service and building better solutions is very much a team effort. A key part of my role will be to nurture this collaborative approach in our Mauritian operation.”

IDR Founder, Tim Andrews said Mr Jordan is a key part of the team.

“Connor’s knowledge of how we work and client service experience, combined with his energy and enthusiasm make him a natural choice for this newly created role. Connor is very much a success story within our business and an example of how we’re committed to supporting and promoting talent in our team. I have seen him grow and mature since joining us back in 2016 and I’m very excited about his future as part of this team.”
