Wednesday 14 July 2021

Three Saffery Champness professionals have been recognised by eprivateclient in its 2021 ‘Top 35 Under 35’ Channel Islands list.

The trio are Associate Director Donna Brehaut, Associate Director Matthew Gilligan and Senior Trust Officer Rory Jones.

Miss Brehaut has been with the firm since October 2018. She is part of a fiduciary team specialising in the establishment, management and administration of a diverse portfolio of offshore structures for HNWIs and has a particular focus on business development. This is the third year in which Miss Brehaut has been ranked in the Top 35 under 35 Channel Islands listing.

Mr Gilligan joined the firm at the start of 2021, bringing with him more than 15 years’ experience in the finance industry. He works closely with the firm’s fiduciary teams, assisting in providing bespoke offshore solutions for UHNWIs across a range of jurisdictions. He was previously featured in the 2020 Top 35 under 35 for the Channel Islands and globally.

Mr Jones joined Saffery Champness as a Trainee Trust Administrator 12 years ago. He works for a diverse range of clients, including prominent UHNWIs. He has also taken a lead role in the firm’s research and development of its approach to crypto currency and digital assets.

This ranking follows the firm’s recognition as a tier one firm in ePrivateClient’s ranking of Top Independent Trust Companies for the third year in a row.

Managing Director of Saffery Champness Registered Fiduciaries, Nick Batiste, commented: “This recognition is a welcome endorsement of the expertise and talent at our firm, and those who have worked with Donna, Matthew and Rory will not be surprised by their success.

"They have consistently shown not only that they are leading advisers in their field, but that they embody the firm's commitment to client service and building trusted relationships with both clients and the wider professional community."
