Restructure means new MD for Rossborough Guernsey

Monday 18 November 2019

Rossborough has appointed a new Managing Director for its Guernsey business and strengthened the local commercial team in order to "develop its personal lines and commercial insurance offer".

Richard Clarke, currently MD of Rossborough Healthcare across the Channel Islands and Isle of Man, has taken on responsibility for insurance broking in Guernsey and is supported by James Moores, Head of Commercial and Vanessa Lee, Account Executive. Former Guernsey MD, Ian Stewart, remains on the board with a new role of developing relationships with key customers.

James Anderson, Rossborough’s Group Managing Director, confirmed the changes would improve the company’s offering on island.

"The team we have assembled under Richard’s leadership brings extensive experience from across the Islands in all aspects of broking. I am certain this restructure will help grow the commercial and personal lines businesses that are both key elements of our local portfolio," he said.

Richard Clarke has worked for Rossborough for eight years and has headed up the Healthcare division since 2015. He assumed the role of MD Guernsey on 1 June 2019. Vanessa Lee’s broking experience pan-island extends to 25 years, whilst James Moores and Ian Stewart have accumulated 15 and 37 years’ industry experience respectively.

The Rossborough Insurance workforce now numbers 130 across the Channel Islands and Isle of Man.
