A trust and company client accountant and a marketing executive each with over 20 years experience in their sectors have joined RAS Group.
Melanie Harvey-Alan now heads the firm’s growing Business Administration team, where she is responsible for the delivery of bookkeeping and payroll functions to our clients.
Nick Hyde has been appointed as a marketing executive at RAS Group, and he will be responsible fordelivering marketing services to our key clients.
In addition to Ms Harvey-Alan's accountancy role she looked after the internal book keeping systems and managed key data migration and new company system projects.
Ms Char, Partner at RAS, said: “Melanie is a welcome addition to the RAS Group’s Business Administration team. We work with a number of high profile clients, where we provide seamless day to day bookkeeping and administrative support. It’s an approach we call “Insourcing” where we provide services in exactly the same way as if it were all done by the client in-house.
"For this reason, we wanted someone who could quickly get to grips with our clients accounting systems, a skillset we were very pleased to acquire with the appointment of Melanie. Her arrival marks an important period of growth for RAS where we have big plans to take on more administration clients."
Melanie will also play a key part in a number of special advisory and consultancy projects RAS are currently working on, as well as developing the company’s in-house systems and procedures.
Mr Hyde's appointment comes at a time when RAS is looking to expand its portfolio of business support services to a range of local and international clients, where marketing and creative services in particular, are seen as a major area of growth.
“Nick brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience. He has marketing experience in the financial services and telecoms sectors where he built a key understanding of factors that power business growth and success," Simon Golland, RAS Partner, said.
"Skills, which when combined with our existing team members, will facilitate higher levels of service and marketing expertise for both our corporate and non-corporate clients.”
