Channel Islands design agency The Potting Shed has said it is "extremely proud" to announce the release of a collaborative project with one of the world’s greatest active lifestyle photographer’s.

“After knowing and working with Ted Grambeau for over a decade on a number of magazines and projects we were very excited when he (and surf industry giant Rip Curl, who commissioned the book) approached us to design a coffee table book to document his incredible career,” said The Potting Shed’s Executive Creative Director Alastair Mitchell.

“Adventures in Light” will showcase the "acclaimed" photographer's "remarkable body of work on a visual journey spanning four decades of adventure travel."

Mr Mitchell said Mr Grambeau is much more than one of the world’s great surf photographers adding that “Adventures in Light” captures the spectacular diversity of his work: "Ted’s staggering body of work, which has graced magazine editorials and advertising campaigns for decades, is brought together here for the first time in over 240 pages of imagery to fuel the surf adventure urge in all of us. It is fair to say there is not a more widely-travelled, well-rounded, technically skilled and artistic photographer working in the realm of adventure travel and action sports in the world."

On a visit to Guernsey, in late 2017, when he worked alongside The Potting Shed on the creative process for the book, Mr Grambeau also managed to fit in a school visit to Ladies College to talk to students about his work and his travels.
