A local company has been shortlisted for an award for designing its own studio.
JG Architecture is a Guernsey Design Award finalist in the Small Projects category (up to £250,000).
The studio design, pictured top, includes an open plan working area, drop-in meeting space, sample area, reception and a large boardroom over two floors and reclaimed brick feature walls.
James Gavey, Company founder and Director, said it was unusual to be both the client and architect for a project.
“We are delighted to be in the final three in the Small Projects category. It is always a good feeling to have your work recognised in this way," said Mr Gavey.
“The Guernsey Design Awards recognize the very best within the industry and it is an honour to have our names up there alongside other talented architects in Guernsey.”
The winners of the 2022 Guernsey Design Awards will be announced on 25 March.
