Grant Thornton says it has appointed a Senior Consultant to focus on Information Security.
David Cartwright will be heading the Information Security team which will provide a range of services to clients across the Channel Islands.
Mr Cartwright holds CISSP and ISO 27001 auditor qualifications and has a long history in IT, telecoms and information security. He has worked in the Channel Islands for more than 10 years, and is presently Chairman of the Jersey branch of the British Computer Society, and Vice Chairman of the Channel Islands Information Security Forum.
Mr Cartwright said: “I am delighted to be joining Grant Thornton, to move back into consultancy, and to be working across all the Channel Islands. Information security becomes more challenging every day for all businesses, so the role promises to be both busy and varied".
Adam Budworth, Managing Director of Grant Thornton, added: “This is an exciting appointment for us as it allows us to provide a service in what is now a business critical area to existing and new clients”.
Services which will be provided by Mr Cartwright and his team include data protection, information security awareness testing, virtual CISO services and business continuity planning.
