Orchard PR's team has been recognised by Citywealth for its continued growth and success.
The Guernsey based public relations agency, which works with clients across the Crown Dependencies, has been shortlisted in the 'Communications & PR Agency of the Year' category in the UK publication's Brand Management & Reputation Awards.
In order to be shortlisted, entrants must have consistently displayed PR campaigns that are considered to be well coordinated, creative and impactful, in the past 12 months.
With a 23-year history, Orchard continued is growth last year by launching a dedicated Digital Content team, led by former journalist, Mike Wilkins. The move was taken by the senior leadership team in response to the ever changing ways in which people are consuming media and, in the space of six months, the new team has already created 33 pieces of video content for clients across the corporate and consumer space.
Last year also saw the agency take home the award for 'Best Use of Content' at the Chartered Institute of Public Relations regional PRide Awards, alongside a number of new business wins.
"2019 was an incredibly busy and successful year for the team, when we not only continued our work with some of the leading brands in financial and corporate services across the Crown Dependencies, we also won a number of competitive pitches," said Managing Director for Client Services, Brooke Kenyon.
The Citywealth Awards recognise and reward agency and client teams across 20 categories, and Orchard is named in the ‘Communications & PR Agency of the Year’ category alongside nine other agencies from across the UK. The winners will be chosen via an independent judging panel and public vote.
To be recognised by such a major title in the financial services industry is an achievement in itself, and testament to the continued hard work and dedication of our team," Ms Kenyon continued. "Competition will no doubt be tough, so if you can spare a moment to support us, we’d be grateful of your vote.”
Votes can be placed here and must be in by 15 May.
