Ogier advises on creation of second AI fund

Ogier has been advising Air Street Capital on the establishment of Air Street Fund II, a fund focused on backing artificial intelligence companies.

The $121million fund will be used to support the development of AI-first technology and is the second of its kind that Ogier’s Investment Funds team has been involved in.

Ogier said: “The Ogier team, led by partner Bryon Rees, senior associates James Dickinson and Gabrielle Payne and associate Tobi Oluborode, advised Air Street Capital on all Guernsey legal and regulatory aspect of the fund's launch, working with lead onshore counsel Morgan Lewis and Guernsey administrator HFL Limited.” 

Mr Rees went on to say: "This is an important and relevant fund for our times, as AI continues to dominate headlines. Congratulations to Air Street Capital and the whole team."
