Resolution IT has appointed a new systems engineer, citing a period of strong growth for its IT management service provisions.
Jonathan Warr stated his career with one of the large accountancy firms in Guernsey, and then transferred his skills to their London offices.
Secondment to India saw him involved in setting up an IT support department and he has also worked for a top London IT managed services provider.
"IT presents a new challenge every day and I particularly enjoy working in an environment that is fast-paced with new innovations happening all the time. I'm looking forward to completing my Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) certification as well bringing my global IT experience to Guernsey's businesses," Mr Warr said.
Olly Duquemin, Resolution IT's Joint Managing Director added that suitable workforce of skilled IT staff on Guernsey was in short supply, so they were very lucky Mr Warr had decided to return to the island.
"It's been a busy first six months of the year with GDPR, cyber security and digital transformation in particular, keeping us occupied. Jonathan has hit the ground running which is fantastic."
