Savills has appointed director Stuart Leslie as the new head of residential sales for its Guernsey office.
Effective from the start of this year, Mr Leslie takes over the reins from Keith Enevoldsen, who has held a leading role within the business for many years.
He will now focus on Local Market sales while Mr Leslie– who joined Savills prior to its acquisition of Martel Maides in 2016 – will have oversight of both Open and Local Markets as well shaping overall strategy for the residential team.
He said: “It is a real privilege to take the next step and lead our exceptional team here in Guernsey. Under Keith’s guidance the residential division has gone from strength to strength and it’s a hugely exciting time to begin our next chapter.
“Despite the challenges of the last few months both of the island’s property markets continue to be busy. 2023 is sure to present some new obstacles but – by placing the highest of standards at the heart of everything we do – we’re predicting another strong year of growth.”
Other staff changes include the appointments of Charlotte Glen as a consultant within residential sales, Tom Bonsall as a property manager within residential lettings, Merrick Bramley and Kayley Bower-Smith as property managers within the commercial team and Joe Brown as a graduate building surveyor.
Tony Rowbotham, head of office at Savills Guernsey, said the appointments demonstrated the continued progression and development of their experienced team.
“We are always keen to attract and retain top talent within core areas of our business and these appointments ensure the evolution of our team continues and the services that we are able to offer clients across the island is further enhanced,” he said.
“Despite the well documented economic headwinds our office had a very strong year and we continue to look at ways to expand and improve our offering – to the benefit of staff and clients alike.”
