Estera has appointed Ethan Levner as Managing Director of its Guernsey office, in addition to his responsibilities as Group Head of Corporate Development, encompassing M&A and group strategy.
He joined the global provider of funds, corporate and trust services in 2016, to aid the company’s growth strategy through mergers and acquisitions.
The firm said he has been "central to devising and executing that strategy through a series of selective acquisitions, which have transformed Estera’s capabilities and scale."
Farah Ballands said “Ethan is absolutely the right person to lead our Guernsey business. Having been central to our growth strategy and development of our large funds business – including leading our acquisitions – he is best placed to drive further growth and cement Estera’s position as a leading provider of PE fund administration services in key jurisdictions, including Guernsey.”
Mr Levner said; “this is a tremendously exciting time for our Guernsey business. Starting with a strong foundation of outstanding clients and talented professionals within our team, 2019 will bring a number of important developments to enhance our capabilities for both new and existing clients alike: implementation of eFront (the PE fund administration platform), a new, high-specification office, and further fund services being offered out of our Luxembourg office further to the acquisition of Allegro. Locally, we continue to dominate the LSE IPOs of new investment funds, complementing our private equity business, which sits alongside our trust & corporate services offering. I am looking forward to working closely with our 100-strong team to deliver for our clients.”
Before joining Estera, Mr Levner was Director at AnaCap Financial Partners, a private equity fund focused on European financial services. Prior to AnaCap he was Managing Director of JRJ Ventures LLP, a private equity fund focused on European financial and business services and, before that, he was Director in the Financial Institutions Group at UBS Investment Bank, where he advised on a number of transactions in the global financial services sector.
