New lettings manager at Martel Maides

Wednesday 14 February 2018

Lyna Guilbert has joined the team at Martel Maides as lettings manager.

Ms Guilbert has many years experience in property since moving to the island from Singapore and learning all aspects of the sector working with a small agency.

Ms Guilbert, who has been involved in the island’s property sector for more than three decades, said: "It is quite a complex area because you are dealing with property owners or landlords and tenants and making all of that happen can be a bit challenging. it’s good practice in matching people and requirements and when that all comes together, it’s a brilliant feeling.

"Martel Maides has a terrific reputation as one of the longest-established estate agents and I genuinely like the fact that they couple that traditional aspect with a dynamic approach to helping people to find the right home or investment. I didn’t realise how big the agency is until I was approached to join them. It is fantastic to be working with this long-established agency because they have a huge amount of expertise in long-standing team members, coupled with younger additions to the staff which means there is a really impressive skills base for our clients."

Martel Maides Director Richard Fox said: “Lyna has made an immediate difference to our Lettings team with the department recording a very busy January. Nothing beats a combination of enthusiasm and experience, which is something Lyna’s fan base has always valued in her. We fully expect our new team to rapidly build on our successes of the last few years.

"On a work level, she and the rentals team have been extremely busy since the start of the year. I fully expect that to continue and am looking forward to helping people to find the right place in which to live or invest their funds."
