Collaborate CI Limited has appointed an editor for its newest media platform, Travel Eye CI.

Starting the role this October is journalist Nicci Martel, who brings more than 12 years of writing experience to Collaborate CI’s latest digital title.

Ms Martel will create and oversee content for its website, weekly newsletter and social media channels. She assumes editorial duties from Collaborate CI managing director Julie Todd, who will be spearheading an exciting new phase of expansion for the company.

“As an excellent writer, with good commercial understand and marketing experience, Nicci is a fantastic addition to the team,” Ms Todd said.

“She has some exciting ideas, plus the knowledge and ability to help grow the Travel Eye CI brand, and her input will be invaluable.”

For the last two years, Ms Martel has specialised in producing travel, family and gaming content for a variety of online publications and clients. With a background in journalism and marketing, and a passion for travel, she can’t wait to embrace her new role.

“What’s not to love? I get to research beautiful locations and write about holidays,” she said.

“Travel Eye CI is fantastic mix of local and international travel news, plus aspirational travel ideas and tips - a one-stop shop for travel enthusiasts, of which I consider myself one. There is so much scope to develop the platform and I’m delighted by the opportunity to take it forward in new and exciting directions.”
