Leading offshore law firm Carey Olsen has added to its trusts and private wealth practice in Guernsey with the appointment of counsel Andrew Munro.
A Guernsey advocate with 20 years' legal experience, Mr Munro joins Carey Olsen having spent the past 15 years with another offshore law firm, which included time as a director of its associated trust businesses.
Mr Munro has covered all core areas of offshore non-contentious practice during his career and has managed many large transactions, including a number not previously seen in Guernsey.
Russell Clark, managing partner and head of the trusts and private wealth group in Guernsey, said: "Andrew has gained a valuable wealth of experience from his time working across a broad cross-section of non-contentious practice areas that includes both trusts and corporate matters, and I'm delighted he is now part of our team. He enjoys an excellent reputation locally and is someone whose advisory expertise and insight will be of great benefit to our clients."
