A highly experienced Consultant Gastroenterologist has joined the Medical Specialist Group.
Dr Kuttappan Manoj MBBS, MRCPI, FRCP (Glasg), FRCP (UK) will bolster the MSG's team through his wealth of experience.
Dr Manoj passed his MBBS from University of Kerala, India in 1990 and after post graduate training, came to the UK in 1995. He worked in various training
jobs in the UK and passed his MRCP examinations in 1998 from the Royal College of Physicians of London as well as the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland.
Dr Manoj undertook his specialist registrar training in Gastroenterology and General Medicine in London and the South East, including The Kings College hospital.
He became a consultant Gastroenterologist and Physician in 2008 and worked for the Greater Glasgow and Clyde Health Board for three years and worked in the same capacity at Wrexham Maelor Hospital since August 2011 until recently.
Dr Manoj has extensive experience in General Medicine and Gastroenterology and has procedure skills in Diagnostic and Therapeutic Gastroscopy, Colonoscopy and ERCP. He also has an interest in Gastroenterology training and had been the Training Programme Director for Gastroenterology in Wales for the last 2 years.
In his spare time, Dr Manoj enjoys playing tennis and participating in philosophical debates.
