The Medical Specialist Group (MSG) has agreed a partnership with a local software provider to support its digital transformation plans.
Troupa is a project management software platform designed to improve project governance.
The MSG said the partnership will allow it to have an overview of all its own projects, including decision making, while improving team collaboration.
The software has been designed to include features which will make it easier for the MSG to track and report on risks, actions, resources, schedules, budgets and other key project information.
Transformation specialist Donna Le Tissier, who joined the MSG earlier this year to lead its transformation programme, is also working on a website upgrade to benefit patients and service users.
"We're in an exciting period of development for the MSG with many projects on the go to enable us to deliver greater value for money and enhanced services for islanders," said Ms Le Tissier.
"For example, we're currently working to upgrade our website, which will improve users' experiences and make it easier for our patients to access the information they need.
"Transformation projects of this scale come with a significant level of complexity. Having an integrated and effective project management system in place is vital for managing implementation and ensuring we have accurate and up to date information on our projects.
"This allows us to focus our time on decision making and delivery. Providing excellent patient experiences and supporting our community are two of our core values, so partnering with Troupa, which is a local business, is a great fit for us."
Tim Rawles, who leads the development of Troupa, said the MSG partnership is a real highlight for the software firm.
"We're really pleased to be working with the MSG to provide them with project management software to support their digital transformation. It's always a privilege to work with other local businesses and, in the case of the MSG, the software is helping the team there to deliver projects that will benefit the wider community, so that's pretty special," said Mr Rawles.
