The Medical Specialist Group has partnered with Jersey-based data specialists Calligo to deliver cloud infrastructure that will underscore its digital transformation healthcare services.
Calligo were selected following a rigorous tender process. The firm has major clients in the Channel Islands and globally.
In a three-month programme starting this week, it will implement its data-first public cloud environment, CloudCore, that will provide improved data security and privacy.
MSG Chief Executive Jon Buckland said the partnership should deliver a fit for purpose technology infrastructure for staff and patients alike.
“In particular it will put us in a great position to make the most of EPR, the new electronic patient record system being developed with HSC, which will improve healthcare and ultimately save lives,” he said.
Julian Box, Founder and CEO of Calligo, added: “It is a partnership that will help drive MSG’s digital transformation journey, and as such, Calligo will be working closely with MSG to deliver our technology stack that gives their business a secure, scalable, resilient and a data focused infrastructure to support the delivery of future digital projects, programmes, and services.”
