Guernsey’s oldest funeral director, Beckfords, has revealed a new credit service aimed at helping people during their time of need.
“We know from experience that regardless of how keenly we price our services, a funeral can often be an unplanned expense,” said Jane Duquemin from Beckfords.
The family-owned funeral service will be offering a credit option for unplanned funerals.
“Helping people through the most difficult times is what funeral directors do,” she said.
“For many families the funeral is their last opportunity to express everything they felt about a loved one and it can be reassuring to know that there is help to make those wishes affordable.
“For others, it simply provides relief that they can manage costs until an estate is resolved.”
You can apply for an agreement over a period of 12 to 60 months.
