Les Vardes House let out

Tuesday 03 March 2020

Esher Investments Limited has let Les Vardes House in La Charroterie, St. Peter Port, to Polygon Collective.

The newly refurbished and expanded office building has been let to the business for a minimum term of five years.

Esher Investments purchased the building in January 2019, when it was being let to the States, and at the same time it purchased the adjacent weld-shed, biker's club building and cottage.

When the States' lease ended in June, planning consent was sought and given to demolish the shed and club building so a car park could be made, all with the long term goal of allowing a reconfiguration of the ground floor of Les Vardes House. Esher Investments wanted to turn the offices into an open plan accommodation site of 4660 square feet.

At the same time, a refurbishment was undertaken throughout the office building, which, for example, included installation of air conditioning with a heat pump.

The asking rent was achieved without incentives.
