LDM Global appoints experienced technology leader as new Chief Exec

Thursday 06 September 2018

LDM Global announced today the appointment of Conor Looney as Chief Executive Officer.

The company’s founder and former CEO, Chris O’Reilly, will step away from day-to-day general management into an advisory role, while Mr Looney takes on the leadership of the company.

LDM Global is a global consultancy providing Digital Forensics, eDisclosure and Cybersecurity services.

Mr Looney is an internationally recognised business leader, with more than 20 years’ experience in the technology and fast-moving consumer goods industries. He has played a leading role in successful companies in Europe and the Caribbean, delivering consistent commercial success across diverse industries.

Over the past six years, Mr Looney has held leading positions at Digicel, the largest communications company in the Caribbean, which delivers cellular, enterprise and residential services to more than 14 million customers. Prior to joining LDM Global he was Regional Chief Executive Officer of Digicel across 18 countries and a member of the Caribbean senior leadership team, which oversaw more than 6,000 staff members across 24 countries.

“We have ambitious plans to expand our global reach to support more clients and are excited for the experience and leadership Conor brings to our team,” LDM Global Founder Mr O’Reilly said.

“His experience in integrating multiple businesses and people across markets to ensure focus and efficiency, while passionately focusing on the customer first is going to be a boon to both our staff and our clients.”

Mr Looney added: “The work LDM Global has been doing for over two decades to ensure clients have the best solutions for their investigations and eDisclosure projects is a solid base that I am seeking to build upon, while new initiatives including cybersecurity ensure we are able to advise clients on all aspects of data investigation and security.

“We have experienced professionals and data centres strategically positioned globally, and a network of global partners, ensuring we can provide hands-on service to our clients anywhere in the world.”

Mr Looney is based in Florida in the United States, from where he travels frequently to meet LDM Global’s clients, as well as staff, across the globe.
