KPMG in the Crown Dependencies has announced the promotion of Chris Lowe to Tax Director.
Mr Lowe trained at KPMG in the UK, specialising in corporate tax, and has been with the Channel Islands firm since 2011, advising individuals and businesses on UK and domestic tax implications.
In his new role, Mr Lowe will continue to grow the operational tax services alongside the rest of the team, which consists of 60 tax professionals including eight directors.
“I am delighted to have been promoted to Director and am extremely proud to be part of the talented and expanding tax team at KPMG in the Crown Dependencies," he said.
"The evolving tax landscape means we are continually developing approaches to help the business community effectively and efficiently comply with their requirements. I look forward to continue working closely with my clients whilst driving tax innovations within the market place.”
John Riva, Head of Tax for the Crown Dependencies, said the promotion represents the "continued growth and evolution" of the tax services in Guernsey, Jersey and the Isle of Man.
"This has been driven by international pressure on tax compliance, technological innovation and new business and consumer demands. Chris is well placed to assist the tax leadership in KPMG to face these new challenges as we work to meet rapidly changing compliance obligations, evaluate how tax changes may affect supply chains and also determine how we can contribute meaningfully to the ESG agenda.”
