KPMG in the Crown Dependencies has announced the appointment of new ESG Director Rachelle Wilkes.

Ms Wilkes is a dedicated ESG professional with more than 15 years’ experience in senior roles across Science, Technology and Finance.

Most recently, she worked as Product Governance and Sustainability Lead for HSBC Asset Management specialising in Private Equity, Real Estate and Hedge Fund of Fund financial products with a focus on board governance and sustainability reporting requirements.

Ms Wilkes is a key contributor to ESG education as a Board member for the MBA programme at Durham University Business School and as a Climate Ambassador for MIT Sloan. Her skillset is enhanced by her cross sector experience working as the Business Lead in successful state-wide Health Informatics and Technology projects across NSW Australia. 

She is also a qualified Medical Radiation Scientist, with five years clinical experience, which is a significant enabler for understanding the systemic effects of climate change.
