General Sir Richard Shirreff KCB CBE will be the keynote speaker for Mourant Trusts and Private Wealth Forums 2024.
Sir Richard served as NATO’s Deputy Supreme Allied Commander Europe, dealing with strategic operations involving military, allied and other governments, non-governmental organisations (NGOs) and international organisations.
His book, 'War with Russia', was published in the UK, USA and Poland in 2016. It became a Sunday Times best seller and has been translated into eight languages.
In addition to Sir Richard's keynote address, this year's programme will feature topical panel discussions delivered by experts in their fields, on issues including a trustee's guide to mental capacity, a jurisdictional discussion on planning considerations for Middle Eastern clients, jurisdictional updates for Guernsey and Jersey, and coverage of the latest significant trust cases.
The Guernsey Trusts and Private Wealth Forum will take place on Thursday 4 July at St Pierre Park Hotel.
