Five judges have been announced for the 2022 Guernsey Design Awards which recognises outstanding design in the island.
The panel is comprised of: Steve Powell, member of the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists (ACIAT); Mitchell Sneddon, member of the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA); States’ Planning Officer Simone Whyte; Debbie Joyce (RIBA) and Heather Bromley (CIAT).
Between them the team have a wealth of experience in architecture, construction, and planning.
“With RIBA and CIAT, planning and construction all being represented, it gives us a great balance of views,” said Mr Powell.
The awards were developed by the States of Guernsey, Norman Piette and the Guernsey Society of Architects.
A presentation evening is being held on 25 March 2022 and the deadline for entries is 26 November this year.
