Listed service provider JTC has been awarded a STEP Gold Employer Partner accreditation across ten of its jurisdictions, including the Channel Islands, in recognition of the firm’s supportive and empowering office culture.
The ‘gold’ status has been awarded to JTC here as well as in the Isle of Man, BVI, Cayman Islands, Switzerland, USA, Malaysia, Singapore and New Zealand.
JTC’s recognition, which is part of STEP's Employer Partnership Programme (STEP EPP), is described as "testament to the strength of the policies, practices and structures that the firm has in place to support its growing international private wealth offering", along with the encouragement and opportunities it provides to staff.
The STEP EPP, formerly known as the Employer Training Scheme, was introduced in November 2014 as a pilot accreditation scheme enabling STEP to support the professional development of its members.
Wendy Holley, Group Chief Operating Officer, commented: “JTC depends on the professional capability of its employees and the success and growth of the business is directly linked to the investment made in professional qualifications. The STEP Gold Employer Partner accreditation will allow enhancements to the personal development of many and we are incredibly proud to have been recognised for our efforts in attaining this accreditation".
STEP’s Head of Employer Partnerships, Jenni Hutchinson added: “JTC has clearly demonstrated a solid commitment to providing their STEP staff with the best possible learning and development opportunities and, as a result, strengthening the overall financial services industry through high-quality, structured professional development.
“The firm is a fine example of private wealth expertise and employee culture, and is a great addition to STEP’s Employer Partnership Programme."
