Resolution IT has been awarded the IASME Governance GOLD, the highest level of certification.
Having been audited by an independent third party, Resolution IT’s achievement is the gold standard of independent confirmation of good information and cyber security practice.
IASME Governance certification is an information Security Management System (ISMS) that has been created to be accessible for small and medium sized enterprises. It can be mapped directly to the ISO27001 ISMS. It has two levels, self-certification and audited, with the latter split between, Bronze, Silver & Gold depending on the number of non-compliances.
The standard is aligned to the UK government’s Ten Steps to Cyber Security and includes Cyber Essentials certification, as well as incorporating GDPR requirements into its framework
James Kelsh, Resolution IT’s Senior Information Security Consultant, said: "We were independently assessed by IASME Governance auditors, Morgan & Morgan in Swansea who, in turn, had their assessment of us assessed by IASME – the Information Assurance for Small and Medium Enterprises Consortium.
"As IASME assessors ourselves, we are required to reach the highest standards which is the IASME Governance GOLD standard with IASME Quality Principles. Every business needs a cyber security strategy and working towards and maintaining an ISMS such as IASME is a great way to show you are taking the ever changing/increasing cyber security risk seriously which starts at the very top of the business."
