IT company Sigma has donated £1,000 worth of children’s furniture and craft equipment to the children’s ward of the Princess Elizabeth Hospital.

Robert Sillars, CEO of Sigma Group said: “We are delighted and proud to support the Princess Elizabeth Hospital as they continue to provide outstanding care to their patients. We have had staff members this year that have benefited from both their professionalism and kindness and we are truly fortunate and blessed to have this level of care available here in Guernsey.”

Mr Sillars added, “We are in a business where technology enables companies and individuals, and through our close partnership with Fujitsu encourages them to join new Digital Arena.  We shouldn’t forget however how beneficial emotional engagement is to patient care and technology whilst vitally important can never replace a dedicated medical professionals kind words and reassurance.”
