Islands Insurance Group has announced the appointment of Shirley Lester, Group HR Director, to its Group Board of Directors.
This appointment, "aims to recognise her outstanding leadership and significant contributions to the Group's strategic development".
Under Ms Lester's guidance, the firm says its People & Culture team has evolved to provide comprehensive support across the business.
The company says her strategic vision has been instrumental in aligning the Group's initiatives with its core values, with a focus on fostering a culture of growth and innovation.
“We are delighted to welcome Shirley to the Group Board,” said Tim Brangwyn, the Islands Insurance Managing Director. “Shirley has been instrumental in our success, and her insights will be invaluable as we continue to navigate our future successes.”
Ms Lester expressed her enthusiasm for her new role, stating: “My time on the trading boards has equipped me well for this new role. I'm excited about the challenges ahead with the IIH board and the opportunity to contribute to the strategic direction and success of the Islands Insurance Group.”
