International banking firm Investec has appointed a new Head of Real Estate Offshore within its Channel Islands Corporate and Family Office.
Janes Niles will help guide her team as the firm looks to expand further into real estate investment opportunities for its clients.
Ms Niles has been working for Investec since 2016, having previously held the title of Head of Corporate and Family Office in Guernsey. She will now oversee a team of 15 real estate and corporate lenders, enabling Investec’s clients further real estate finance ‘solutions’.
"Our expertise is in understanding the complexities of offshore structures behind family offices and trusts in our global real estate client base and appreciating a requirement to navigate them efficiently in supporting them in achieving their goals,” said Ms Niles.
She’ll be reporting to Investec’s Head of Real Estate, Mark Bladon.
“Jane brings a wealth of experience providing a high touch and personalised service to clients with complex requirements and, along with her team, will be crucial in aligning the business to offer one holistic capability in the real estate space,” he said.
