Intertrust Guernsey has appointed Andrew O’Shea with immediate effect as its interim Managing Director, replacing Paul Schreibke who is retiring after 27 years with the firm.
Mr Schreibke has been with the Group since 1991 and led the Guernsey Intertrust team as Managing Director for the last five years.
Now, Mr O’Shea will lead the Guernsey office on an interim basis until a permanent successor for Mr Schreibke is appointed.
He is currently Intertrust’s Global Head of Key Clients, based in their Dublin office and has extensive experience in delivering high levels of client service across all jurisdictions.
“I have had a long and fulfilling career with Intertrust, but have decided that now is the right time to step back in order to spend more quality time with my family," Mr Schreibke said.
"I am proud to have contributed to Intertrust’s growth and continued success and I would like to thank all my colleagues for their hard work and support, especially during my time as Managing Director.”
Mr O’Shea added: “I am looking forward to working with the excellent team in Guernsey which has an outstanding reputation. Their experience and knowledge both locally and globally is well respected and I am delighted to be working and living, even on a temporary basis, on such a lovely island.”
