One of the RAF's first female Tornado pilots will be speaking at a charitable event in Guernsey.
Mandy Hickson will be in the island for International Women's Day on Thursday 8 March, as the guest of Soroptomist International.
The professional body says Ms Hickson will offer "a unique insight into her world".
"With frankness and humour, Mandy will talk about the strategies she employs to succeed in her high -flying, high-risk role and demonstrates the importance of remaining calm under pressure and leading, quite literally, from the front, in order to get the best from herself and her team".
